Addition Technology received the Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE) from the FDA for keratoconus indication in 2004 and got the CE Mark for Intacs® Corneal Implants in 2003.

Addition Technology Inc. became a Company of AJL Ophthalmic, S.A. in December 2012.

AJL Ophthalmic, S.A. (Spain, 1992) is an ISO 13485 certified ophthalmic device manufacturer that develops, manufactures and markets high quality devices to support medical professionals to improve their patients' vision worldwide (+70 countries).

AJL Ophthalmic is the manufacturer of Intacs® Corneal Implants outside the USA.
